Please note that notification of registration cancellation must be sent by email to ialm@congressbydesign.com. This cancellation policy applies only to the congress registration fee and does not apply to additional purchases such as dinners or other programme elements. These items are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. The applicable cancellation terms will be determined based on the date and time the cancellation email is received by the organiser. For cancellation requests received before 30 January 2027, 23:59 CET (Amsterdam time), a cancellation fee of 25% will be charged. For cancellations received on and after 30 January 2027, 23:59 CET (Amsterdam time), no refund will be given and the full amount is required. Registration transfers within the same company are permitted subject to prior approval from the organiser and must be requested no later than 30 April 2026, 23:59 CET (Amsterdam time). A handling fee of EUR 40 per registration will be charged for every modification received after 30 January 2027, 23:59 CET (Amsterdam time).

Letters of Invitation can be requested as part of the registration process. An automatic email with further instructions will be sent once your registration has been paid in full.

We accept payments by Mastercard, iDEAL/Wero and Visa. Any additional fees (e.g. bank charges) are at own expense. Payments by Apple Pay and Google Pay are also accepted.

Personal data will be collected, processed, stored by Congress by design (the “Processor”), on behalf of of IALM, only for the preparation and execution of the 2027 tri-annual meeting of the International Academy of Legal Medicine (IALM), scheduled from 18-21 May 2027 in The Hague, the Netherlands. Delegates’ personal data will be retained securely and under the applicable law. You may at any time request access to your personal data, as well as its rectification, erasure or limited processing, portability of your data, or oppose to the processing by written request addressed to the Data Controller through the e-mail address: ialm2027@congressbydesign.com. Congress by design does not give your personal information to anyone else unless one of the following applies; You would reasonably expect that your information will be passed on to the recipient as part of the provision of products or services to you ancillary to your registration for this conference; You have consented; It is required or authorised by law; It will prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to somebody’s life or health; It is reasonably necessary for the enforcement of the criminal law or of a law imposing a pecuniary penalty, or for the protection of public revenue.
