The online abstract submission system is open until 12 December 2026, 23:59 CET. Only electronic submissions submitted through the abstract portal will be considered.

Presentation Preference
Authors may submit their abstract under one of the following presentation preferences:
- Oral Presentation
- Oral Presentation, with consideration for Poster Presentation
      if not accepted as an oral presentation
- Poster Presentation
- No Preference
      the Scientific Committee may allocate the presentation format

The final presentation format will be determined by the Scientific Committee following peer review.

Abstract Requirements

Title
- Maximum: 20 words
- The title should be concise and informative.
- Please use sentence case.
- Avoid abbreviations where possible.

Abstract Text 
- Maximum: 250 words
- Abstracts must be written in English.
- Please proofread carefully before submission.

Keywords
Select 1 or 2 keywords that best describes the content of the abstract.

Authors
- Provide the names, affiliations, cities and countries of all authors.
- The submitting author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors have approved the submission.
- All correspondence regarding the abstract will be sent to the submitting author.

Presenting Author
One author must be designated as the presenting author.

Review Process
All submitted abstracts will undergo peer review by the Scientific Committee.

Abstracts will be evaluated on:
- Scientific quality
- Originality
- Relevance to forensic and legal medicine
- Methodological quality
- Clarity of presentation
- Educational value
- Overall merit

The Scientific Committee reserves the right to assign accepted abstracts to either oral or poster presentation categories, taking the author's preference into consideration where possible. The Scientific Committee also reserves the right to assign abstracts to a scientific session that may differ from the selected topics.

Registration
The presenting author of each accepted abstract must register for the congress within one month of notification in order for the abstract to be included in the final scientific programme.
